Following degrees in Psychology and Anthropology I was trained at IDEO, the firm that pioneered Design Thinking and human-centred design (HCD). I've since spent 10 years specialising in work that touches the most sensitive corners of human experience. Speaking with customers (and celebrants) who were currently planning a funeral for a loved one, I developed insights about what it means to celebrate a life, in death. I supported this charity in understanding people who have been bereaved by the suicide of a loved one. I led sensitive and supportive research sessions which helped us to learn about the challenges of opening up about suicide as the person left behind. Peanut wanted to explore menopause as a new vertical for its community offer, and I led research with menopausal women in the USA and UK to identify the challenges and opportunities for Peanut in this space. The Peanut menopause community launched in 2021.
